With some distance we look back on the National Cup 2023 and are still happy about well behaved guests, the rousing atmosphere and cool pitches! In addition to the crowning of the National Champion 2023, around 30,000€ in prize money and project funding were awarded on both days. In this blog, we take another look at two eventful days and summarize some special moments:

The first-place teams in each league advanced to the finals. In the end, "Save the Grain" wins: the project supports farmers in sub-Saharan Africa in reducing immense harvest losses with a holistic concept. The "Board of Directors" Award (2nd place) goes to Enactus Braunschweig with "YcoLabs".

Enactus Düsseldorf was pleased to receive the "Rookie of the Year" award. Henrike Eiden and Alex Appel, spokespersons for the Enactus Germany Alumni, presented them with €200 in prize money.
In addition, particularly committed supporters were honored at the "Of the Year" awards:
David Stommel and Dominik Kretschmar as Faculty Advisor received the first "Advsior of the Year" awards and Jörg Sievert's commitment was honored shortly after as "Business Advisor of the Year". In addition, Arian Ajiri was honored as "Alumni of the Year" and Procter & Gamble Germany was announced as "Partner of the Year". 🤝
Further thanks are due to our partners who recognized the teams' achievements with their awards:

The "Wilo Special Award Water" was presented by Ricarda Pomper from Wilo SE and went to Enactus Münster with their project "Communitab".
The Ford Motor Company C3 Challenge Awards and 5,000€ prize money each went to Enactus Ruhr-Universität Bochum with their project "BLINC", Enactus Braunschweig with "TAMDONAT" and Enactus Magdeburg with their project "Zimmerwald".

Furthermore, various project sponsorships were already awarded on Thursday evening during the "Special Award Ceremony":
The R+V Versicherung Award went to Enactus Münster with their project "Moin!Münster" and Enactus Braunschweig with their project "YcoLabs - circular building insulation",
The Securepoint GmbH Award went to Enactus Munich with their project "Techdalo" and Enactus Lüneburg with "Reframe",
The award from Deutsche Bildung AG went to Enactus Münster with their project "Moin!Münster" and also to Enactus Germany for its achievements in the field of education,
A short-term award from Startup Werk went to Enactus Münster with their project "Moin!Münster",
The Procter & Gamble Germany Award went to Enactus Bayreuth with their project "Asante Sanaa" and to Enactus Aachen with their project "keäksack",
WILO ordered 100 branded FACES portmonees from Enactus Ruhr-Universität Bochum and in addition BASF pledged support.
We thank them for these appreciative recognitions and awards and are sure that they will strengthen the teams in their efforts to find sustainable solutions for the challenges of our time. 💛
